
Miranda Georgaki
Mezzo soprano
Born in Athens. She began studying Music at an early age (Piano, Accordion, Harmony Degree). Later on, while studying Greek Literature at Athens University, she began studying Opera singing at Athens Conservatory under Hara Savino and Kostas Paskalis. She received her Opera Singing Degree under Despina Kalafati in 2009 at Athens National Conservatory (Excellent 1st Prize and Honorary Distinction).
In 2010 she was a Greek member of the Greek National Opera opera Studio. She has performed the roles of Dorabella (COSI), Cherubino & Marcellina (NOZZE), Dritte Dame (ZAUBER FLOETE), Maddalena (RIGOLETTO), Azucena (TROVATORE).
She has also sung several works of contemporary Greek composers such as Georgia Kalodikis, Gerassimos Voutsinas and Charalampos Goyios (Elisabeth, THE DAMMAGE, Athens Festival 2008). She debuted at the GNO in February 2011 as Berta (Il Barbiere, G.ROSSINI).
